Vortex Inc. offers mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly services. We work with our customers from design/prototype through full production. Our services include installation of cable assemblies, switches, PC boards fans and other Critical Components that your projects may require.
Our Wire EDM Department consist of four of the most state of the art machines including the Charmilles Robofil 330F fully submersible EDM , 2 - Charmilles Robofil 300 and one of the largest EDM's in New England, the Charmilles Robofil 500.
Our Engineering Department is running AutoCAD 2002 and Solid Works 2001 Plus for Engineering, Die Design, and Layouts. ProFab and ProFold NC Software for Sheet Metal layout and Programming. And Esprit Wire EDM for 3 and 4 Axis Wire EDM Programming. We always carry the most recent versions of these products so that we may keep up with our customers needs.
Rapid Prototyping is a specialty at Vortex Inc. Our Engineering Department works closely with our customers through E-mail and phone conversations to ensure all design specifications are met in order to reduce costly mistakes during the prototyping process. Electronic file transfer enables our customers to get their designs to us quick and accurately.
Vortex Inc.'s machine shop has full CAM capabilities. Complete milling, Turning and Wire EDM services allow us to make our own in house tooling to meet our customers production needs.
Our Stamping Department provides the means to keep up with our customers' demands for higher production jobs. All of our Tools & Dies are made on site.
